North Star Studios is an art gallery and workshop on Duwamish Bay. Here you will see art that will not only dazzle your senses but delight your soul. Each artwork has it's own spell that will affect the buyer in a positive way. There's no way to know what spell each artwork has unless you take the piece home. Waterlilies

Today, in honor of a brilliant artist who left us too soon, I have put on display three views of the same image created by this wonderful artist. First a photograph, then two images of a watercolor, in progress, made by looking at the photograph.

I believe this was his first, and only, watercolor. I know he was just beginning to "dabble" as he put it.
