North Star Studios is an art gallery and workshop on Duwamish Bay. Here you will see art that will not only dazzle your senses but delight your soul. Each artwork has it's own spell that will affect the buyer in a positive way. There's no way to know what spell each artwork has unless you take the piece home. If you would like to sell or display your work here, please contact Gail Kavanagh. North Star Studios is dedicated to the memory of Stan, brother of former owner AshleyShea, in perpetuity.

North Star Studios Reopening

North Star Studios on Duwamish Bay is under new management and will be officially reopening on Saturday January 7. If new owner Gail Kavanagh - that's me - can do half as good a job as AshleyShea in making this gallery something Duwamish Bay can be proud of, she will be a very happy woman!

As you enter the gallery on Saturday you will notice a shining new plaque by the door. It states that the gallery is dedicated to AshleyShea's brother Stan and will forever remain so.
The good fairy Providence has elected to stay and keep the gallery sprinkled with stardust so that your wishes can be granted.

If you want to send art for sale or display at the opening or at any time, just send your images to me (click on my name for the info) and they will be posted in the gallery.

Now I am off to gather some art for the opening, because Providence has gone mad with the fairy dust and it's making me sneeze!

But at least I know my wish will come true...

Thank you for dedicating the studio to Stan. That means a lot to me...and will to him, too, I'm sure. I have tears in my eyes at the thought of it. Thank you!

Actually I can think of a few alter egos - Gypsy Rose Lee (I always
wanted to dance to Little Egypt with a handful of scarves) - one of the
Two Fat Ladies (I could preside over the Riversleigh Aga and make
stodgy puddings) or maybe Mata Hari (slinking around Lemuria with a hidden
camera and bad French accent)...
Speaking of two fat ladies, maybe we could organise a Bingo Night...
I'd better stop or Le Enchanteur will be after me with a sharpened
pencil.
There's no harm in having a little fun, so expect some links to my
favourite cartoonists.
